Introduction: Real Life in Latur and Maharashtra
While traveling across India, I saw many real stories of people in villages. Near Ashtamod in Latur district, I met an old man sitting quietly. His life represents the struggles of countless villagers in Maharashtra, facing drought, heavy rains, and poverty.
This video, “Typical Poor Old Man from Latur District,” is my way of showing the real side of rural life that many never see.
What I Saw in Latur District
Latur, like many Maharashtra villages, faces extreme weather. Recently, heavy rains destroyed crops, and during droughts, farmers suffer even more.
The old man I met showed me the strength and dignity of people living in villages. Life is not easy, but their spirit remains strong.
