  • Nandur Village – A Memory Lane of Simplicity and Emotions | By Eshwarprasad | EP Ka Meter Films

Hi everyone, I’m Eshwarprasad from EP Ka Meter Films, and today I want to take you to a place that has stayed close to my heart for years — Nandur village, a small but soulful village in Ahmedpur Taluka, Latur District, Maharashtra.

A Neighboring Village Full of Memories

Nandur is my neighboring village, just a few kilometers from where I grew up. It’s not just another rural spot — it’s a place filled with memories of school scholarship exams, childhood journeys, and visits to relatives who lived simple, peaceful lives.

As a kid, I used to pass through Nandur often — sometimes on my way to exams, sometimes for family visits. Every time, I noticed something different — the warmth of people, the smell of wet soil after rain, and that silent beauty which small villages always hold.

Why I Revisited Nandur in 2025 In October 2025, I revisited Nandur — not just as a person, but as a filmmaker.

Whenever I travel to Ahmedpur, I have to pass through this route, and this time, I decided to stop, observe, and capture the village through my lens.

Nandur 2025 – Through My Lens

Here’s what I captured in my short and emotional mini vlog —

Water Bridge on the Main Road – where the flow of the river meets the rhythm of everyday traffic. The River – calm, shining, and full of reflections of the village life. Villagers Cleaning a Tractor – simple, hardworking people living with pride and peace. Women’s Gossips Near the River – the sound of laughter and daily stories blending into the wind. A Bull Cart and an Old Man Returning Home – a moment that truly defines timeless India. Old Village Houses – mud walls, wooden doors, and hearts full of memories. Small Poor Children – smiling at the camera, reminding me that innocence still survives here.

I also saw the home of Shri Diliprao Deshmukh, a respected and powerful politician from this region, but I didn’t capture it on camera — out of respect for privacy and to maintain the personal essence of the vlog.

    What Nandur Reminded Me Of

While shooting, I was flooded with old memories —

My school scholarship exam days, my childhood relatives, and those small roads where we used to walk carefree.

This vlog wasn’t just a shoot — it was a journey back in time.

Standing near the river, hearing the sounds of bullock carts and birds, I realized — no matter how much we grow, our roots always stay where our heart once learned to dream.

    The True Beauty of Nandur

Nandur may look like a simple rural village, but it holds the essence of true India —

People who still greet you with a smile, Nature that breathes peace, And a culture that values relationships more than wealth.

There’s a rhythm here — from the tractor washing near the river to women laughing under the trees — it’s all real, pure, and untouched.

    Final Words – From Eshwarprasad

Whenever I pass through Nandur, I feel a deep connection — it’s not just a village, it’s a part of my growing years.

It reminds me that true storytelling doesn’t always need actors or budgets — sometimes, a real place and real people are enough to create cinema.

To all creators out there — don’t forget your roots.

Because one day, they’ll become your strongest story.
