Malayalam actor-turned-filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. Geetu Mohandas and There are several young, untrained filmmakers in India who Started making Low-quality films on low budgets, including Purushottam Kumar, a 25-year-old filmmaker who goes by the initials NPK. 

Their work highlights socio-economic and environmental issues in the tribal countryside. 

One of their films, Bandha Khet (Mortgaged Farm), won awards at the 2021 International Tribal Film Festival.

  • Kannada star Yash’s new film Toxic went on floors on Thursday 09 Aug 2024, ( News Source ) in Bengaluru. Said to be a big-scale action-thriller set across multiple continents, the film is directed by Malayalam actor-turned-filmmaker Geetu Mohandas.
